Privacy Policy

Effective Date: March 19, 2026 · Last Updated: March 19, 2026

1. Overview

X On-Call (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our staffing automation platform and SMS communication features.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, including:

  • Name, email address, and mobile phone number
  • Professional credentials, certifications, and qualifications
  • Availability and scheduling preferences
  • Account login credentials
  • Facility or organization information (for client accounts)

We also collect information automatically when you use the Service, such as login timestamps, device type, and feature usage data.

3. How We Use SMS

SMS Consent: By providing your phone number, you consent to receive transactional text messages from X On-Call. We do not sell or share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes.

We use SMS specifically to:

  • Notify you of new staffing opportunities matching your qualifications
  • Send on-call schedule reminders
  • Collect two-way acknowledgment replies to confirm or decline shifts
  • Deliver shift confirmation, update, or cancellation notices

You can opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP to any message. Opting out may limit your ability to receive timely staffing notifications.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

  • Match qualified, available staff with open shifts
  • Send notifications and confirmations via SMS and email
  • Manage your account and preferences
  • Improve the Service and develop new features
  • Comply with legal obligations

5. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

  • Facilities/Clients — only the information needed to confirm a staffing placement (name, relevant credentials)
  • Service Providers — trusted vendors (e.g., SMS delivery services, cloud infrastructure) under confidentiality agreements
  • Legal Authorities — when required by law or to protect rights and safety

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as necessary to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at privacy@xoncall.com.

7. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access or obtain a copy of your personal data
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Opt out of SMS communications at any time (reply STOP)

To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@xoncall.com.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe we have inadvertently done so, please contact us immediately.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
